Webmail will allow you to access email using your browser. Just type in webmail. followed by your domain name. So if your domain name is www.registeraustraliandomains.com then to access your webmail, you will go to http://webmail.registeraustraliandomains.com  Just add webmail and dot before your domain name in the browser window.

Your email accounts will not work unless the name server records are the same as the table below. (If you transfer in your domain name or are changing web hosts, then you will need to edit these name server files before your mail accounts will work, i fyou have registered a domain name through us, the correct name server and zone file records have been set up for you already.).

Changing name server records

The easiest way to get to name server page, is to login to your domain name admin, click "edit" next to the domain name that you wish to manage and the name server page will appear. Enter the details below, and click 'update name servers' or click on the "Hosting" button and it will automatically populate the correct name server details for you, then you need to click "update name servers" for the records to be updated.

Warning: if you are transferring from another host, you should download your mail before making the following name server changes, otherwise email may be left on your old hosting account's mail server. You must make sure that you have create mailboxes all mail aliases before you change your name server records or else you will lose email in the process of changing name servers.

 Host Name ip adreess
 primary name server  brigh.twoplums.com.au   202.47.4.136
 secondary name server mutley.twoplums.com.au 72.3.132.132

If you are changing your name server records, you will need to wait till your name servers delegate, before your webmail or mail will work.

Why does it take 24-48 hours to propogate name server changes across the internet? The internet is made up of many servers and computers all linked together and 11 authoritative name servers that direct internet traffic. When you make a change to your name server records, this change is made at your registrar who is linked to the central authoritative name servers. ISPs hold name server records in cache or memory, for a period of 24 hours and this means that if you have been to your URL, and then changed your name server records, the old record is held in memory until the ISP flushes the cache and the ISP updates your domain name to the new records. If you update your name server records, and you have not been to your domain name that day or just after the change, the change will appear to happen very quickly - sometimes within minutes or in the hour. The problem is, if you visit your website too soon after making a name server change, and your ISP holds the old name server record in memory and will not direct you to your new record until the ISP routinely flushes their cache (usually every 24 hours)
