SEO for DIY websites
All DIY website customers will receive a free article on Search Engines, which will detail how to choose keyword phrases, where to submit your site to search engines, how to get your free Google business listing, understanding how search engines work and evaluating your search engine results. My Website Builder allow users to enter keywords, title tags, page descriptions and change the URL name.
Firstly, we will discuss how to enter metadata: ie keywords, page descriptions, urls and title tags in My Website Builder.
My Website Builder and SEO
My Website Builder puts the metadata in a separate area. You will find it under "Goodies and Add-ons" (left hand menu) then "Search Engine Optimisation" . By default, the homepage of My Website Builder site will be "Welcome Page". If left as "Welcome Page" when someone adds your site to "Favorites" in their browser, instead of your company name, it will say "Welcome Page".
An example of what the Search Engine Optimisation page should look like is below withyour own set of keyword phrases. See article as supplied with your hosting instructions for how to choose your title tag, description tag, keywords and filename.

Remember, once you have entered in all these details, you need to regenerate and republish the entire site. By republishing the site, you are transferring the changes you make in My Website Builder to your hosting account.
Note: If you are changing the filename and you have created internal links within the body of the text on other webpages on your site, you will need to go and update the internal links to the new URL that you have created. The same applies to the footer links that you have created.
